Train Simulator: Weardale Amp; Teesdale Network Route Add-On

1075eedd30 Train Simulator: Weardale Amp; Teesdale Network Route Add-On The Weardale and Teesdale Rail Network is my favourite route of all time (considering I live near Darlington Station). After buying this route, I went on a quest to buy anything that was part of Darlington heritage either steam or diesel. Even though the sounds are the same, it doesn't matter compared to the 8 year deveolpment on this route.. I Love this loco with its iconic early diesel engine sound.. This DLC is a stunning example of years of work, and it shines through from the moment you start driving! The rolling stock is all done to a very high standard, in particular the locomotives are extremely detailed. Whether you are interested in the history of this railway, want to make some scenarios for Train Simulator or just want to drive trains and enjoy the scenery this will fit all criteria. The Class 105 DLC offered alongside this is also good, I did not buy it as it came with an earlier purchase of a BR Blue loco pack, however as a standalone it is equally worth it and comes with fitting scenarios for this particular route. All in all, this is my favourite route for Train Simulator; if you'd like a taste of British scenery then this it the route for you! As with all TS DLCs it's worth waiting for a sale it you're wallet's a little light as prices are reduced a lot!. This route has one of the highest ratings of all TS routes and for good reason. It recreates in detail the substantial network that existed in the 50s and 60s in the area around Durham, Darlington, Middleton-in-Teesdale, Wearhead, Bishop Auckland and Spennymoor, covering around 200 miles. Much of this has been sadly ripped up but the author, Derek Siddle, has brought it back, taking many years to research and develop the route. It's fantastic and is still one of my favourite routes 3 years after I first bought it.If you do get it, take advantage of the Twin Pack with the Class 105. And there are many high-quality scenarios in the Workshop to keep you occupied.. This route has one of the highest ratings of all TS routes and for good reason.
